The Plant Fairies was a brick and mortar plant shop in San Francisco, as well as an indoor plant design and maintenance firm serving commercial and residential clients in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 2018 I met Rye and Steph when they were looking to brand their fledgling plant business. Their focus was on tropical foliage and they wanted a logo that imbued a lush green/thriving quality, but was still joyous and playful.
We settled on a mix of plant illustrations and customized typography. The logo would be applied to signage, staff uniforms, and assorted merch. We also collaborated on a one-off enamel pin design.
After 4 years, in the spring of 2022 the founders made the decision to close the business ahead of an out of state move.
